What we collect, why, who sees it, and how to reach us about it.
AgentBridge (“we”, “us”) runs a property distribution service that sends property briefs to a network of buyers agents across Australia, plus free property calculators and articles. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. This policy explains what we collect, why, who sees it, and how to access, correct or complain about it.
| Who | What |
|---|---|
| Sellers and developers | Name, email, phone, company, and details of the property: address, type, price expectations, features, and any photos, plans or documents you send us. |
| Buyers agents | Name, firm, email, phone, the areas, property types and price brackets you work in, and licence details we may ask for to confirm you are licensed. |
| Calculator users | The numbers you enter are sent to our server to work out the result. We do not store them against your name. The Find a Buyers Agent matcher only collects your email and answers if you tick its consent box. |
| Everyone | Basic technical information your browser sends (such as IP address and device type), how you use the site (through Google Analytics and HubSpot), and anything you type into our chat. |
Mostly from you: through our contact form, the matcher, our chat, email or phone. Sometimes a buyers agent, referral partner or adviser passes on your details because you asked them to.
Automated matching. Our matcher and brief distribution use software to compare your answers or property details with buyers agents’ stated areas, property types and price brackets. The software does not decide fees, eligibility or any other outcome for you.
We only use your information for these purposes, for a purpose you would reasonably expect, with your consent, or where the law allows it.
We do not sell personal information. We share it only as the service needs:
HubSpot, Netlify, Cloudflare, Google and Microsoft may store or process data outside Australia, mainly in the United States. We take reasonable steps so that they handle it consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
We use cookies for two things: Google Analytics (to count visits and see which pages help people) and HubSpot (our chat and contact records). We do not use your information for third-party advertising. You can block cookies in your browser settings, or install Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on. The site still works without them, apart from chat and some forms.
Every page and form uses encrypted (HTTPS) connections. Our forms are protected against bots, our server functions are restricted to requests from our own site, and the systems we use are access-controlled. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps against misuse, loss and unauthorised access.
As long as we need it for the purposes above and for our legal and record-keeping obligations. After that we delete or de-identify it.
Email ag@agentbridge.com.au to ask what we hold about you or to correct it. We will reply within 30 days. There is no charge to ask for your information or to correct it. If providing access would cost us significantly, we will tell you the cost first, and it will not be excessive.
We only send marketing emails if you have agreed to them or would reasonably expect them. Every one has an unsubscribe link, and you can also opt out by emailing us. You never have to accept marketing to use our service.
Contact us first at ag@agentbridge.com.au and we will try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
We may update this policy. The version on this page, with the date at the top, is the current one.
